Mental Wellness is more than a daily practice. It's a way of life.

Mindset is the foundation of mental wellness. It shapes the way we see and BE in the world. It shapes every aspect of our lives. Mindset is the filter through which we perceive everything. Imagine wearing a pair of pink sunglasses. The world around you will have a pink tint to it. The sunglasses will impact everything you see. That's like your mindset. It impacts how we perceive everything around us. It impacts our relationships with self and others, our motivation, and perspective. 

 

In order to be healthy mentally, it's important that we stay have an empowering mindset. It's important we remain mentally fit. Just as it's important to exercise to maintain physical health, studies show consistent use of mental fitness exercises, such as meditation, can reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. 

What do we mean by mental fitness? Mental fitness is defined as a state of well-being and having a positive sense of how we feel, think, and act. It's the ability to create the life you want versus reacting to what life throws at you. Mental fitness has four pillars: 

  1. Emotional: Self-acceptance, self-esteem, and resilience.

  2. Social: Friends and support network as they bring companionship and enrichment to our lives. 

  3. Financial: Feeling in control of your finances, being able to handle financial setbacks, and being on track to achieve your financial and life goals.

  4. Physical: Healthy diet, regular exercise, and enough sleep to reduce your risk of developing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and depression.

Our sole focus: Mental Wellness

Mental wellness is our entire focus. Every product and service we offer is designed to help develop our skills for better mental health.

Developing the skills for better mental fitness can benefit you and everyone around you in some of the following ways. 

  • Being present. This results in more enjoyment of life and better relationships. Being present in this moment helps us become aware of our body, thoughts, emotions. We get to detach from the past and future. After all, life happens now.

  • The ability to respond, not react. This can improve relationships and the way we think about the world.

Improved cognitive function. Better focus, processing speed, memory, concentration, time management, and communication have a positive impact, personally and professionally.  

  • Increased positive emotions: optimism. With increased awareness comes the ability to notice and reframe thoughts in more helpful ways.  

  • More confidence. With optimism, our relationship with ourselves becomes stronger. Self-esteem and self-efficacy - the belief in our abilities - increase, and we may focus more on our strengths. 

  • Ability to develop positive habits. The need to form new, better-adapted habits never stops. 

  • Improved sleep. As with physical fitness, mental fitness also contributes to better quality sleep.
